Synopsis

가난한 사람도 꿈을 꿀 자격이 있을까? 러시아에는 5백만 명의 노숙자들이 있고, 이 중 1백만 명은 어린이들이다. 영화는 모스크바 외곽 쓰레기장에서도 꿈을 잃지 않고 살아가는 어린이 노숙자들의 모습을 담담하고 따뜻하게 그린다.
If you live in poverty, can you afford to dream? An estimated five million people are homeless in Russia; one million of them are children. This film takes an unflinching and yet poignant look at the lives of a group of children living on a rubbish dump outside of Moscow, showing the hardships they face and the dreams they hold on to.

아카데미 후보 지명을 받은 감독 겸 프로듀서. 현재 러시아 모스크바 인근 거대한 쓰레기장에서 살아가는 소녀의 12년간 여정을 담은 <율라의 꿈>을 작업하고 있다.

As a Oscar-nominated director and producer, Hanna POLAK is currently working on Yula’s Dream film. It is a twelve years journey into a life of a young Russian girl growing up on a vast garbage dump in the vicinity of Moscow.
