Synopsis

아버지가 유산으로 남긴 땅과 소를 받기 위해 고향으로 돌아온 렌지타. 메마른 땅엔 식수도 없고, 유산으로 받은 소 제부는 꿈쩍도 하지 않는다. 제부와 렌지타 사이에 유대감이 쌓여갈 무렵, 기우제를 지내려는 마을 사람들이 제부를 제물로 쓰기로 결정한다.
Rengita, a young man from Madagascar, is having a hard time working his land on his own, the old zebu he inherited changes his life and he develops a bond with the animal. One day, the villagers decide to sacrifices his zebu for rain return.

마다가스카르의 신인감독. 첫 장편영화 <Song of TLOUS>로 2012년 칸영화제에서 에클레어상을 수상했다. 단편 <제부와 렌지타>는 2013 클레르몽페랑단편영화제 등에 초청되었다.
As a young emerging filmmaker from Madagascar, he makes shorts, documentary and video art. He was invited to the 65th Festival de Cannes and won Eclair Prize with Song of TLOUS. Recently, his short film Zebu of Dadilahy is selected in Clermonnt Ferrand Film Festival 2013.
