Synopsis

<농부들의 어느 좋은 날>은 관습적인 농경법에 단호하게 등을 돌린 네 농부들의 생생한 초상화이다. 열정적이고 반항적인 이들은 그들의 자유에 종말을 고하려는 모든 이들에게 저항한다. 유럽과 아프리카의 사계절 풍경 속에서 각자의 삶의 이야기를 가진 네 명의 캐릭터들은 같은 언어-지구의 언어를 사용하는 가운데 서로 연결된다.

Lands for Freedom paints a vivid portrait of four farmers who have decisively turned their backs on conventional farming methods. Passionate and rebellious, they resist all those who'd like to sound the death knell for their freedom. Pictures of European and African landscapes during the four seasons, 4 characters with their life stories becoming linked to each other while speaking the same language: the one of the Earth.

20년 이상 영화 감독, 기자, 프로듀서로 활동한 폴 쟝 브랑켄과 쟝-크리스토프 라미는 지속가능한 농업과 환경 보호라는 맥락 안에서 세계를 먹여 살리는 문제에 대해 탐구해왔다. 토양 오염이 EU의 건강에 미치는 영향을 다룬 영화들을 제작했다. 독립 다큐멘터리 제작을 위해 벨기에 비영리 법률 조합인 KOAN Production을 설립하였다.
