Synopsis

한여름 무더위에 지친 영실, 영찬 남매 가족은 바다로 휴가를 떠난다. 바다에 무심코 버린 쓰레기 때문에 바닷속 여행을 하게 된 영실과 영찬. 바닷속 생태계는 인간들이 버린 쓰레기로 인해 파괴되었고, 이때문에 바다생물들과 남매 사이에 갈등이 발생한다. 초등학교 어린이들이 직접 시나리오부터 세트 제작, 캐릭터 디자인, 촬영, 연출까지 참여한 애니메이션.
Tired in scorching summer, Young-Shil and Young-Chan go down to the sea. The brother and sister thoughtlessly throw away the garbage in the sea and it throws them into an unexpected journey under the sea. Dumping human waste into the sea has damaged the submarine ecosystem, which leads the sibling to come into conflict with sea creatures. The Little Mermaid helps Young-Shil and Young-Chan to settle the dispute and they decide to keep the seas clean.

2009년부터 3년 동안 어린이와 함께 하는 영화 만들기 프로젝트를 진행했다. <999마리 개구리>, <거인 존>, <고 녀석 맛있겠다>, <메리크리스마스 늑대아저씨>, <샘아저씨의 비밀의 문>, <소미네 똥 가게> 등을 작업했다.
KIM Jeung-Kil involved in project ‘filmmaking with children’ from 2009 to 2012. He made several animations which include 999 Frogs, Giant John, You are Umasou, Merry Christmas Mr. Wolf, Uncle Sam’s Secret Door, and Somi’s Poo Store.
