Synopsis

고양이나 강아지를 좋아하는 사람이라면, 반려동물이 주인과 어느 정도 관계를 맺고 있다고 생각할 것이다. 하지만 반려동물도 사람과 같은 생각일까? 반려동물은 어떻게 소통하고, 공감하고, 서로를 이해하는가? <함께 산다는 것>은 동물을 키우는 다양한 사람과의 인터뷰를 통해 인간과 반려동물의 관계의 한계와 범위에 대해 이야기한다.
Whether a cat person or a dog person, you probably think you have some kind of relationship with your pet. But does your pet feel the same way? Do we know how our animals see us? This animated short uses interviews to explore the extent and limitations of human-pet relationships, and how we communicate, feel for and understand each other.

페이퍼 아트, 잉크, 페인트, 모래, 등 다양한 오브제를 활용하는 애니메이션 작가. 그녀의 작품들은 전세계 갤러리와 영화제에서 소개되었다. 현재 독립애니메이션 작가들의 모임인 시애틀 실험애니메이션팀 SEAT의 회원으로 활동하고 있다.
Tess MARTIN is an independent animator who works with back-lit paper cut-outs, ink, paint, sand or objects. Her films have displayed at galleries as well as festivals worldwide. She is a member of SEAT, Seattle Experimental Animation Team, a collective
of independent animators, and has curated two programs of SEAT films.
