Synopsis

최고의 어부로 명성이 자자했던 산티아고 할아버지는 최근 몇 주째 물고기를 잡지 못했다. 마을사람들은 할아버지가 너무 늙었다고 생각하고, 할아버지는 자신의 자존심을 되찾아 줄 한 번의 기회를 노리고 있다. 하지만 바다에서 그를 기다리는 건 거대한 물고기가 아니다. 기름과 어마어마한 쓰레기뿐이다.
The Old Santiago is a skilled fisherman, but he doesn't fish anything since weeks while the rumor of his bad luck spreads in the village, he's awaiting the catch that will bring his pride back

줄리앙 쎄즈는 영국 브리스톨에 있는 스톱모션 애니메이션 스튜디오에서 인턴으로 근무했다. 단편 <21세기 노인과 바다>는 어니스트 헤밍웨이의 소설 『노인과 바다』를 현대식으로 재구성한 애니메이션이다.
Julien SÈZE purchased being trainee in stop motion animation studio in Bristol. In 2011, he directs his first short movie The Old Santiago and the Sea , a cartoon remake of The Old Man and the Sea of Ernest HEMINGWAY.
