Synopsis

자전거는 변화를 위한 훌륭한 도구가 될 수 있지만 자동차로 이득을 얻는 이들은 자동차 산업을 보호하기 위해 매년 수십억 원을 들여 로비 활동과 광고를 벌인다. 자동차 판매가 호황을 누리고 있는 도시, 상파울루에서 자전거 운동가들은 극적인 변화를 도모한다.

A bike is a great tool for change, but the interests who gain from cars invest billions each year on lobby and ads to protect their business. In São Paulo where car sales are booming, bike activists push for radical changes.

 

Director 프레드릭 게르텐 Fredrik GERTTEN
프레드릭 게르텐은 다수의 상을 수상한 스웨덴 감독이자 저널리스트이다. 그의 최근작 <바나나 소송사건, 그 이후>(2012)와 <바나나 소송사건>(2009)은 선댄스영화제를 비롯한 전세계 80여 개국에서 관객들을 만났다. 현재 WG 필름의 크리에이티브 프로듀서로도 일하고 있으며 지엽적 이야기를 세계적인 시각으로 만들어내는 것으로 유명하다.

Fredrik GERTTEN is a Swedish award-winning director and journalist. His latest works Big Boys Gone Bananas! (2012) and Bananas! (2009) have met an audience in over 80 countries including Sundance. Today he combines filmmaking with a role as a creative producer on WG Film - famous for local stories with a global understanding.
